This Sunday, we will hear from Luke 23:50-56 - the burial of Jesus.  We will consider the fact that Jesus really died, and was buried.  In fulfillment of the entire Old Testament.  And as a picture of what happens when we, as the people of God, are buried with him in baptism, so that we can be raised with him into newness of life.
