This Sunday, we will hear from Luke 21:5-28 - considering the suffering and persecution that will come upon the people of God prior to the return of Christ.

Jesus says that the temple will be destroyed.  And that the entire city of Jerusalem will be destroyed.  And that there will be wars, and violence.  And that Christians will be persecuted - even by their own friends and family.  But through it all, God will help them to persevere.  And eventually, Jesus will come back and redeem his people, once and for all.

We’ll consider together how we should expect suffering in our lives, and how we can endure through suffering when it happens, in view of and for the glory of our great savior.
