This Sunday, we will consider the final female that is mentioned in Matthew's genealogy - Mary, the mother of Jesus.
We’ll consider her experiences from a number of different New Testament texts (Matthew 1-2, Luke 1-2, John 2, Mark 3, John 19, Acts 1). From the moment that she learned that she would give birth to Jesus (as a virgin), through her pregnancy and Jesus’s birth and childhood. As well as some other appearances that she makes in the New Testament - during Jesus’s earthly ministry, at the cross, and after His ascension.
See you Sunday.
