This Sunday, we will continue our journey through the genealogy of Jesus in Matthew 1, looking particularly at the story of Ruth.

Ruth was a Moabite woman, who followed her mother-in-law Naomi as she returned to her homeland of Israel. And once she arrives, she meets a man named Boaz, and is permanently folded into the covenant community.

We will consider what this story tells us about the person and work of Jesus. And how it is calling us to respond as Christians.
