For the next several weeks, we will be in Luke 6. Hearing from a number of different passages that make up what is often referred to as Jesus’s “Sermon on the Plains”.

This Sunday, in particular, we will be hearing from Luke 6:17-26. In this text, people gather from far and wide to hear Jesus. And He begins by explaining to them what it really means be blessed, in a way that entirely redefines how we typically understand blessing.
