This Sunday, we will hear from Romans 13:1-7 - Paul’s instructions on how the Christian is to relate to civil governmental authority.  He says that the Christian is to submit to the government, because the government was established by God (to promote justice and punish evil), and has real authority that was delegated to it by God (the sword of punishment).  We will consider what it looks like for us to live for Christ and glorify God in the public square, as we relate to the civil governing authorities.
