How do faith and works interact together? Can a person be saved without living a life of godliness?

If so, does that mean that we believe in cheap grace? Where anyone can be saved merely by what they say, even if their life does not line up?

If not, have we abandoned the doctrine of justification by faith? Have we embraced a theology where we earn our salvation based on the things that we do?

This Sunday, we will examine James 2:14-26. Where James tackles these questions.

Well look at how to live a life that is consistent with the faith that we claim that we have. And well look at the dangers verbally professing faith, while living a life that contradicts it.
