This Sunday, we’ll be back in 1 Timothy, looking at chapter 4. We’ll see Paul warn Timothy that he should be prepared for people to depart the faith. That they will fall into all kinds of demonic influence, false doctrine, and legalism. He also exhorts Timothy to discipline himself, and to toil and strive to persevere in the faith.

Together, we’ll consider how we, as Christians, can be abiding and trusting in the sovereign grace of God. And yet, even as we do, how we can be laboring and striving to grow in holiness.
