This Sunday, we will finish our journey through the book of Jude, looking at the doxology, in verses 24-25.
Up until now, Jude has exhorted his readers to actively contend for the faith (verse 3), to remember the apostles’ teachings (verse 17), and to keep themselves in the love of God (verse 21). And now, in his conclusion, he reminds them that while they are responsible for persevering in their faith, it is actually God who sovereignly preserves his people. God’s grace is the decisive agent in the keeping of his people. And he is able to accomplish it because of his infinite power and glory.
