This Sunday, we will hear from Psalm 3 - a psalm of David, that he wrote when he was fleeing for his life…..from his own son, who was trying to kill him.
David acknowledges the difficulty and danger that he is in. And how his enemies are seeking to kill him. But the also trusts that the Lord is sovereign, and stronger than his enemies, and able to protect him. And because of that, he can rest, secure in the fact God is looking after him.
We will consider together the perils of living as a follower of Christ in a world that is hostile to God. And the reality that God has saved us, and is with us, and will keep us forever.
