This weekend, we will be continuing our journey through James – a letter written by Jesus’s little brother, exhorting Christians to live godly lives, in response to how Jesus has saved them.

Our text will be James 1:19-27. In it, James exhorts us to go beyond mere hearing of God’s Word, and to actually obey it. To hear it, and then to do it. He applies this idea to speech (be slow to speak, and careful with your words), thought (be slow to anger), relationships (listen, be compassionate), morality (repent of worldliness and immorality).

Join us on Sunday, as we gather to sing to our Savior Jesus. And as we hear from His Word, so that we can be equipped to obey Him and glorify Him.
