This Sunday, we will be hearing from Luke 20:1-8.  The religious leaders, still upset from how Jesus cleansed the temple, challenge Jesus about where he gets his authority.  But, rather than answer them, Jesus asks them a question of his own.

We will consider some of the impulses in the religious leaders that prompt these questions - love of self, love of money, love of power, fear of others, the need for their approval.  And we will consider how Jesus confronts these impulses, and calls them to repent.
