Last Sunday, we looked one of the more well-known parables in all of Scripture - the Parable of the Prodigal Son.

This Sunday, we will turn our attention to one of the more enigmatic and difficult to understand parables in Scripture - the Parable of the Dishonest Manager.  In Luke 16:1-13.

At first glance, it is difficult to tell if this parable is commending (or even prescribing) deceit and dishonesty.  We will wrestle with exactly what is being communicated, and what is not being communicated.  And we will consider how Jesus is calling us to be shrewd, and to invest in eternity, rather than squander our resources on this life in this world.
