This Sunday, we will hear from 1 Kings 9-11, and look at how Solomon turns away from the Lord later in his life.  Solomon’s story begins as the beloved son of the father, who asks for wisdom from God, and walks with God, and builds a temple for God.  But it ends with him worshipping other gods, and inciting the judgment of God - so much so that God tears the kingdom away from him.

We’ll look at the rest of Solomon’s story.  And we’ll consider together what we can learn from him.  And how his story can serve as a reminder for us to turn from sin, trust in Christ, and persevere to the end.
