This Sunday, we will finish our journey through the book of Judges, looking at chapters 17-21.

In it, we see the culmination of Israel’s downward moral spiral - to the point where everyone does what is right in their own eyes.  People are violating God’s prescriptions for worship, and priests are joining them in it for financial gain.  People are committing all sorts of sexual sin and violence.  It is a cautionary tale of what happens when a society rejects God’s authority, in favor of their preferences and desires.
