This Sunday, we will continue our journey through the gospel of Luke, looking at 22:63-71 - the beginning of Jesus’s trial proceedings. The elders, priests, and scribes question Jesus about whether he is the Christ. Upon hearing his answer, they are scandalized, and seek to move forward with a verdict and sentencing.
We will consider some of the titles and offices that are ascribed to Jesus in this passage - Christ, Son of Man, Son of God. We will consider what they mean, what they tell us about Jesus, and their implications for our lives as believers.
