This Sunday, we will take a look at John the Baptist, in Luke 7:18-35.

We will consider the person of John the Baptist. How he related to Jesus. How he handled difficulty and doubt and wavering faith in his own soul. What Jesus had to say about him. And we will consider how John the Baptist’s actions (coming honestly to Jesus with his doubts) might serve as an example for us. And how the response of the Pharisees (cynical, critical dismissal of Jesus) might serve as a caution to us.
