Missionary Update

In an unexpected turn of grace, John Visser and Danny Gonzalez, have become members of the Board of Semilla, joining Nahum Sturdevant and Jose Gonzalez, totalling four of the five Board members. This is sure to bring JRCC and Semilla even closer, opening future mutually enriching possibilities of ministry to the Spanish-speaking world.

Latin America represents 8% of the world population, but 30% of the COVID deaths so far. Eight of the ten countries with the highest rate of deaths per 100,000 people of population, are Spanish-speaking.

Semilla works with Christian leaders, exposing the toxic roots of a culture that produces such results. It teaches that the Gospel can heal it through obedience to the Word, covenanting with God and becoming sons of the Father.

Current prayer needs are:

• for the Latin American staff to establish a legal presence in Latin America and raise their own support there
• for God to elect sound governants in Bolivia, a referendum in Chile, the Constitutional reform of Cuba and  the pro-life battles in multiple legislatures of Mexico.
