Paul urges the the Thessalonians to live a life that is pleasing to God.  (4:1)  According to the rest of the passage (4:3-12), what does that life look like?  What can we be doing to try and live that life?

Paul instructs the Thessalonians to abstain from sexual immorality.  (4:3)  Why is this so important?  What are some of the reasons that Paul gives for it?  (4:3-8)

Paul also encourages the Thessalonians to love another.  (4:9-10)  What does this look like, practically, in our relationships with other people?  What are some ways that we can strive to love others “more and more”?

What does it mean to “live quietly”, and to “mind our own affairs”?  (4:11)  How can we be growing in our ability to do this in our lives?

Why is it so important for people to avoid idleness, and to work diligently?  (4:11-12)
