What about heaven do you look forward to most?

 

What about heaven do you find most difficult to conceptualize, or to wrap your mind around?

 

In Joel 3:17, Joel goes out of his way to mention not only that God will dwell in Zion, but that God’s people will know that He dwells in Zion. Why is God so concerned about His own glory, and fame, and reputation?

 

Read Revelation 22:1-15. How does that passage relate to this text in Joel 3:17-21? What does it tell us about the eternity that we have to look forward to as Christians?

 

What does it look like to live this life in light of eternity? What are some practical ways that we can attempt to lean into that in our lives right now?




What does it mean for God to avenge the blood of His people? Why is this such an important promise for us as Christians?
