Member Meeting
Sunday, August 4
Shortly after Corporate Worship

Our next Member Meeting will be shortly after Corporate Worship on Sunday, August 4.  One of our agenda items will be to invite feedback and input on our service times (Corporate Worship, Member Meetings, Sunday School), so that we can make the best possible decision going into the Fall.  Please make it a point to stick around and participate!

 

Consortium Tides Game
Friday, August 9
6:35pm

Our consortium of churches is planning an evening for people from all of our different churches to go to a Norfolk Tides game together on Friday, August 9.  (Norfolk Tides vs. Durham Bulls)  The first pitch is at 6:35pm.  Gates open at 5:30pm.  Tickets are $14.  (Children under 2 do not need a ticket.)  You can sign up here.  The deadline to sign up is Friday, July 26.

 

Missions Potluck Dinner
Saturday, August 10
5:30pm - 7:30pm

At our missions dinner we will have Chip and Meredith Jones (Chile), Rob and Diane Sampson (Middle East), and Eric Gambardella (InterVarsity) who will be sharing about their ministries.  Please plan on attending for this time of fellowship and encouragement!  If you are interested in bringing food, please sign up here.

 

Serving and Encouraging Church Members
We have some church members (Ann Cherry and Holly Forrester) who are currently having difficulty leaving their homes, and are in particular need of encouragement and care.  We would love for church members to serve them by going to their homes to visit, bring them a meal, or help out around the house (dishes, laundry, etc.).  If you are able, please sign up to help!  Contact Gina McKeehan if you have any questions.
