Summer Hours
Starting this Sunday (June 2), our Corporate Worship service will begin at 10am.  And Sunday School classes will take a break until the fall.  We hope you enjoy the extra hour of sunshine in the afternoon!

This Sunday, we will have a Member Meeting shortly after Corporate Worship.  If you are a member, or are interested in learning more about membership, please plan to stick around to pray together and handle family business.

 

Women’s Bible Study
Tuesdays
10am-noon
June 4 - August 6

The Tuesday Morning Women's Bible Study will begin a new book study on June 4 - reading and discussing When Life and Beliefs Collide by Carolyn Custis James.  (It will be a 10-week study, from June 4 - August 6.)  All women are welcome to join, and bring a guest!  We will have snacks, drinks, fellowship together, read Chapter 1, and hand out study guides.  If you need more details, or have questions (childcare, etc.), or would like to RSVP, contact Mary Sue Rawls.

Consortium Tides Game
Friday, August 9
6:35pm

Our consortium of churches is planning an evening for people from all of our different churches to go to a Norfolk Tides game together on Friday, August 9.  (Norfolk Tides vs. Durham Bulls)  The first pitch is at 6:35pm.  Gates open at 5:30pm.  Tickets are $14.  (Children under 2 do not need a ticket.)  You can sign up here.  The deadline to sign up is Friday, July 26.

 

Missions Dinner

5:30pm - 7:30pm

Please save the date and join us for dinner and fellowship with several missionaries our church supports. More details to come.

 

Opportunities to Fellowship with Ann Cherry
Ann Cherry is unable to attend church at this time, so we wanted to create opportunities for our church family to still have fellowship with her - to spend time, pray with her, discuss the sermon, read a psalm, etc.  If you can, please sign up to call or visit her.  (If you visit, please contact her in advance to schedule a good time.)  Contact Gina McKeehan if you have any questions.
