This Sunday, we will be in 1 Timothy 5:17-25, looking at elders in the local church. We will consider how to compensate staff elders. And how to handle allegations and accusations against elders. And how elders are to be held accountable to a high standard by the church body.

We will consider together how we can be building a culture of godly members, who are growing in their faith, and fulfilling their responsibilities as members; who are led by godly elders, who teach and shepherd them faithfully.
