This Sunday, we will be in 1 Timothy 5:1-16, looking at how to care for one another within the family of God.

Paul gives Timothy instructions on how to relate to men and women in the church, and how to honor them. Then he specifically deals with some of the most vulnerable among them – widows. He discusses how the church should be actively seeking to help provide for widows. All the while, he exhorts their families to pitch in and help, and he exhorts the widows themselves to be godly, and Christlike.

We’ll consider together what it looks like to care for one another, in a way that builds each other up, toward maturity and Christlikeness.
