We’re between sermon series this Sunday (having just finished a stint through Luke 7-9, and preparing to work through the minor prophets after the New Year). We are going to take a look at Psalm 121 – considering how God draws near and helps his people.

We all live in a constant state of neediness. We look everywhere we can to have our needs fulfilled. In this psalm, we see that only God is able to fulfill our deepest needs. Because only God is sovereign, and unchanging, and steady, and strong. Only God is able to hold us, and protect us, and provide for us. And, because He is gracious, that is exactly what He does.
