This Sunday, we will be in 1 Timothy 3:1-7, where Paul discusses the qualifications to serve in the office of elder.

We will examine what an elder is, and what they are called to do. We will discuss what a church should look for in a potential elder, and why these characteristics are important. And we will consider what all of this means for the members of the church, and what application there is for their lives in this text.
