This Sunday, we continue our series through the book of Lamentations, looking at chapter 3.
Lamentations 3 is something of a centerpiece for the book. It contains the only redemptive language of all 5 poems. It is flanked on either side with 2 chapters of negativity, doom, and gloom. And yet, right in the middle, there is a ray of light, where the author remembers the goodness, and love, and faithfulness, and mercy of God.
We’ll consider how the lovingkindness of God remains constant, even in the midst of terrible suffering and hardship.
