Since last summer, we have been working (off and on) through the Paul’s letter to the Romans. For the next several weeks, we will jump back into that book, and take a look at Romans 9-11.
This Sunday, we will hear from Romans 9:1-13. In it, Paul reflects back on everything that he has taught in Romans 1-8, and considers some questions that may be raising in the reader’s mind. Namely - if Paul’s gospel is true, and if salvation is freely available to anyone who trusts in Christ…..does that mean that God’s word has failed? Does that mean that he has not kept his promises? Has God abandoned the covenant that he has made with his people?
We will consider those questions, and Paul’s answer to them, this coming Sunday.
