As Jesus neared Jerusalem, he knew full well that he was going to be betrayed, arrested, and crucified. What do you imagine he might have been thinking on his journey? What are some emotions that you think he might have experienced?

How would you articulate the theological significance of what happened at the cross? Why did Jesus have to die? What did Jesus accomplish through his death?

Why is the resurrection of Jesus such an important aspect of the Christian gospel? What did Jesus accomplish through His resurrection from the dead? Why is the resurrection significant for us, as Christians today?
