Jesus seems to be instructing his hearers to be preparing now for the storms and adversity that will inevitably come on them in this life. What does it look like for us, as Christians, to be leveraging our present season, and to be preparing our our souls for adversity and suffering?
How can the local church help us in our obedience (hearing and obeying God’s Word), and in our perseverance (building a house with a firm foundation on the rock)?
