This Sunday, we will hear from John 4:1-26 - the interaction between Jesus and the Samaritan woman at the well.  In it, Jesus:

  • Tells he woman that he alone can give her living water, that will quench her thirst once and for all.
  • Confronts her sin, and calls her to repent of it.
  • Clarifies that God is the one who sets the terms on how he is to be worshipped, and that we are to worship God in spirit and in truth.
  • Confirms to her that he is the Messiah, who is coming to save his people.
