Lift High the Name of Jesus
Keith Getty, Kristyn Getty, Ed Cash, Fionan de Darra
Lift high the name of Jesus
Of Jesus our King
Make known the power of His grace
The beauty of His peace
Remember how His mercy reached
And we cried out to Him
He lifted us to solid ground
To freedom from our sin
Oh sing my soul
And tell all He’s done
Till the earth and heavens are filled with His glory
Lift high the name of Jesus
Of Jesus our Lord
His power in us is greater than
Is greater than this world
To share the reason for our hope
To serve with love and grace
That all who see Him shine through us
Might bring the Father praise
Oh sing my soul
And tell all He’s done
Till the earth and heavens are filled with His glory
Lift high the name of Jesus
Of Jesus our Light
No other name on earth can save
Can raise a soul to life
He opens up our eyes to see
The harvest He has grown
We labor in His fields of grace
As He leads sinners home
Oh sing my soul
And tell all He’s done
Till the earth and heavens are filled with His glory
Call to Worship
Adapted from Psalm 80
Hear us, O Lord! You who sit enthroned between the cherubim! Awaken your might, and come and save us!
Restore us, O God! Make your face shine on us, that we may be saved!
You transplanted a vine from Egypt. You drove out the nations and planted it. You cleared the ground for it, and it took root and filled the land. The mountains were covered with its shade, the mighty cedars with its branches. Its branches reached as far as the Sea, and its shoots as far as the River.
Return to us, God Almighty! Look down from heaven and see! Watch over this vine, the root your right hand has planted, the son you have raised up for yourself.
Let your hand rest us, the people you have raised up for yourself. Then we will not turn away from you. Revive us, and we will call on your name.
Restore us, O God! Make your face shine on us, that we may be saved!
His Love Can Never Fail
E. S. Hall
I do not ask to see the way
My feet will have to tread
But only that my soul may feed
Upon the living Bread
Tis better far that I should walk
By faith close to His side
I may not know the way I go
But oh, I know my Guide
His love can never fail
His love can never fail
My soul is satisfied to know His love can never fail
My soul is satisfied to know His love can never fail
And if my feet would go astray
They cannot, for I know
That Jesus guides my faltering steps
As joyfully I go
And though I may not see His face
My faith is strong and clear
That in each hour of sore distress
My Savior will be near
His love can never fail
His love can never fail
My soul is satisfied to know His love can never fail
My soul is satisfied to know His love can never fail
I will not fear, though darkness come
Abroad o'er all the land
If I may only feel the touch
Of His own loving hand
And though I tremble when I think
How weak I am, and frail
My soul is satisfied to know
His love can never fail
His love can never fail
His love can never fail
My soul is satisfied to know His love can never fail
My soul is satisfied to know His love can never fail
Congregational Prayer
As those who have been delivered from the wrath to come through the blood of Jesus Christ, we come now to confess our sins, and to seek the grace and mercy that can only be found in you, our God and Savior.
You have called us to be people of faith, hope and love. But we are guilty of unbelief, hopelessness, and hatred.
We should have delighted in Jesus Christ, but we have sought refuge in created things.
We should have endured trials with patience and hope, but we have grumbled against you.
We should have loved you, and loved our neighbor, but we have been self-absorbed.
Have mercy on us, O God, and bear fruit in us by your Word. Turn our faces and our hearts upward to heaven, so that we will live as those who await the glorious appearing of our Savior Jesus Christ.
In His name we pray.
Amen.

Who is the Redeemer?
The only Redeemer is the Lord Jesus Christ, the eternal Son of God, in whom God became man and bore the penalty for sin himself.
Everything is Different
Shane Barnard
Who am I to know Your glory
Who am I to recognize Your voice
Calling out
How could I be in Your story
God who was and is and is to come
Who has won
I was dead in my sin
You came in, yeah
You made a way when there was no way
You covered heaviness with garments of praise
You wrote a song and You're singing it over me
I feel a dead heart beating now
This revelation makes me want to shout
That Jesus has been sent
And everything is different
You turn ashes into beauty
You are for me, not against me now
You found me somehow
You turn mourning into dancing
You turn weeping into a joyful noise
Oh rejoice
I was dead in my sin
You came in, yeah
You made a way when there was no way
You covered heaviness with garments of praise
You wrote a song and You're singing it over me
I feel a dead heart beating now
This revelation makes me want to shout
That Jesus has been sent
And everything is different
What manner of love
That You would call us
Sons and daughters?
We cry "Abba! Father!”
Alleluia, Alleluia, Alleluia
I will never be the same
You made a way when there was no way
You covered heaviness with garments of praise
You wrote a song and You're singing it over me
I feel a dead heart beating now
This revelation makes me want to shout
That Jesus has been sent
And everything is different
Sermon
2 Timothy 4:9-22
9 Do your best to come to me soon. 10 For Demas, in love with this present world, has deserted me and gone to Thessalonica. Crescens has gone to Galatia, Titus to Dalmatia. 11 Luke alone is with me. Get Mark and bring him with you, for he is very useful to me for ministry. 12 Tychicus I have sent to Ephesus. 13 When you come, bring the cloak that I left with Carpus at Troas, also the books, and above all the parchments. 14 Alexander the coppersmith did me great harm; the Lord will repay him according to his deeds. 15 Beware of him yourself, for he strongly opposed our message. 16 At my first defense no one came to stand by me, but all deserted me. May it not be charged against them! 17 But the Lord stood by me and strengthened me, so that through me the message might be fully proclaimed and all the Gentiles might hear it. So I was rescued from the lion's mouth. 18 The Lord will rescue me from every evil deed and bring me safely into his heavenly kingdom. To him be the glory forever and ever. Amen.
19 Greet Prisca and Aquila, and the household of Onesiphorus. 20 Erastus remained at Corinth, and I left Trophimus, who was ill, at Miletus. 21 Do your best to come before winter. Eubulus sends greetings to you, as do Pudens and Linus and Claudia and all the brothers.
22 The Lord be with your spirit. Grace be with you.
Jesus Strong and Kind

Jesus said that if I thirst
I should come to him
No one else can satisfy
I should come to him
Jesus said if I am weak
I should come to him
No one else can be my strength
I should come to him
For the Lord is good and faithful
He will keep us day and night
We can always run to Jesus
Jesus, strong and kind
Jesus said that if I fear
I should come to him
No one else can be my shield
I should come to him
For the Lord is good and faithful
He will keep us day and night
We can always run to Jesus
Jesus, strong and kind
Jesus said if I am lost
He will come to me
And he showed me on that cross
He will come to me
For the Lord is good and faithful
He will keep us day and night
We can always run to Jesus
Jesus, strong and kind
